39C3 Workshop: Meshtastic & Meshcore for Hackers [28 Dec 12:00 - 14:00]

Meshcore is the future! Worldwide, Meshcore is overtaking Meshtastic as the regional LoRa mesh net of choice. Unlike Meshtastic, Meshcore scales well and supports reliable direct messaging. Meshcore is optimized for hackers, developers, or beginners who want deeper control. We will dive into Meshcore differences, setup and customization, and how to utilize the Nibble’s Flipper-Zero compatible expansion ports for sensors and peripherals.

Student Prerequisites

• Laptop Required: Please bring a laptop (Windows, Mac, or Linux) with a USB port.

• Software: Install Google Chrome (for web-based flashing tools).

• Cable: A high-quality data USB cable is included in most kits, but bringing a spare USB-C and Micro-USB cable is recommended.
