Nibble Screen Connect

The Nibble Screen Connect is our latest Nibble board that features room to expand hardware for Meshtastic hacking and adds Meshcore support!

We designed this board to be an easy DIY LoRa node that’s perfect for prototyping mesh-connected devices, or expanding into a fully-featured companion node. 

The new board layout has been expanded to allow easy soldering of a BME280 sensor for creating your own DIY weather station, 2 push buttons, an OLED display, indicator LED, breadboard-compatible headers, and solder or clip-on antenna. 

Thanks to our incredible community, we’re introducing preliminary support for Meshcore (as well as existing support for Meshtastic).

• Compact & Rugged Design: The PCB fits snugly into a PVC pipe for outdoor deployments, or companion 3d printed enclosures, making it perfect for outdoor and remote deployments.

• Reliable LoRa Communication: Comes with a sx1262 LoRa radio (programmable for 868MHz or 915MHz), ensuring encrypted communications over long distances.

• Customizable Expansion: Equipped with dedicated I²C and SPI pads for easy integration of additional peripherals.

• Included Environmental Sensor: Includes a BME280 sensor for precise tracking of temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure—great for environmental monitoring.

• Breadboard compatible for hardware hacking: Control hardware via breadboard, or control your node remotely!

Kit Includes:

• 1x Nibble PCB - Built with a compact form factor for easy low-cost deployment. Comes with mounting holes for case. (Case not included)

• 1x sx1262 LoRa Radio - Reliable, long-range communication with software defined radio options and built-in U.FL Connector.

• 1x Host Microcontroller ESP32s3 Zero Dual-core microcontroller complete with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and native USB.

• 1x BME280 Sensor
  Precision environmental sensor with easy I2C connectivity, making data collection simple.

• LED, Resistors, Buttons
  Comes with 6x 10kΩ resistors, 1x 330Ω resistor, 2x buttons, and 1x LED.
  
  

• OLED Display
  SSD1306 .92 inch OLED display for receiving messages.

• 1x Wire / Coil Antenna
  A compact, coil-style or wire antenna designed for optimized performance. Subject to availability.
